Feeding the Ducks
We took Alex to Black Dam Ponds today to feed the ducks. Afterwards Alex enjoyed walking through the leaves and mudand throwing sticks in to the pond.

The Nirvana Album Cover
Here is Alex underwater - 2 years old and he's better underwater than we both are! This was taken at his weekly swimming lesson. Rachel got there early and with the help of Michelle, their instructor, she managed to get this shot. Cool!
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve we went over Mitch & Lorraine's for a little drinkie. Paul & Liz were there also. Here are Alex, Ethan & Lucy sitting on the window sill.

New Bed
We finally took the decision to move Alex out of his cot and into a bed this week. So on Saturday we left Alex with his Nana & Papa and went off to Southampton to buy the bed and mattress. We ended up getting a bed that matched his old cot (John Lewis) and a mattress from Toys R Us.
The first night went well, with his new bed, Thomas The Tank Engine quilt set and Bob The Builder pyjamas he couldn't have been more excited to go to bed. He woke early, about 05.30, but as he can now come in to us rather than us having to go and get him, he just came in to us, climbed in to bed and fell back to sleep.
Looks like it will work out very nicely!
